From the harbor front, duck into the Evraiki (Jewish Quarter) for its flower-filled passages and Etz Hayyim Synagogue, then head east to Splantzia Square — shaded by plane trees, with the Church of Agios Nikolaos that uniquely bears both a bell tower and a minaret.
