The municipal "A Citadina" electric shuttle connects the port, city center, and car parks year-round. Runs Mon–Sat 7:30 AM–7:30 PM, Sun 8:00 AM–2:00 PM; a summer line (Paesu) also runs daily June 1–Sep 30.
Official taxis charge a €2 base fare plus ~€2.54/km. The port to city center is roughly 5 km, putting the fare around €14–16 including any luggage surcharge.
The only app-based private hire service in Corsica. Book via their app for a door-to-door ride; pricing is similar to taxis but bookable in advance.
Regular buses connect Porto Vecchio to popular beaches like Santa Giulia and Palombaggia, as well as to nearby Bonifacio. Depart from the central bus station near the port.
Once in the city center (a short shuttle ride from the pier), the old Genoese citadel and marina area are easily explored on foot.
