From the tender dock at the marina, follow the road up to Porte de Gênes, the Old Town's main gate. Walk the Sentiero dei Bastioni (Bastions Path) around the citadel walls for panoramic views over the strait toward Sardinia, then loop back through the labyrinthine medieval streets.
From Col Saint-Roch at the top of the old town, a well-marked coastal path follows the limestone cliffs to Capo Pertusato — the southernmost tip of Corsica — with sweeping views of the strait and Sardinia. Return the same way.
