A UNESCO World Heritage coastline, three lighthouses, seals, and 26 km of beach make Borkum an easy port to fill a full day.

A charming narrow-gauge train runs from the ferry pier directly into town — the easiest and most scenic way to reach the center. Check whether your ferry fare includes the train leg.
Public buses operated by Borkumer Kleinbahn cover most of the island. The Inselbusrundfahrt hop-on/hop-off tour (€15 adult) is the best option for sightseeing.
