From the ship mooring, walk along the raised levee path beside the Canalbianco canal. The flat agricultural landscape — rice paddies, orchards, and distant Apennine views on clear days — is quintessential Po Valley. Watch for other river vessels navigating the canal.

    Book transport early. There are no taxis waiting at the rural Torretta pier. Pre-arrange a ship shuttle, hire a taxi through reception, or borrow a ship bicycle before disembarking.
