From the tender dock, stroll along the waterfront to the old harbour (Porticciolo), then head up Via Vittorio Emanuele to the Cathedral. From the town centre, follow the signed path up to La Rocca. Pass the megalithic Temple of Diana en route to the summit fortifications and sweeping coastal views. Wear sturdy footwear and carry water.

Ships tender passengers directly into the historic harbor. The old town, beach, and Cathedral of Cefalu are all within easy walking distance — the entire center can be covered on foot in under 30 minutes.
Local taxis serve the port area with a base fare of €3–5 plus ~€1.50/km. Short rides within town are typically €5–8; useful if you arrive tired or have mobility concerns.
Uber is available in Cefalu but only through licensed NCC drivers (Uber Black). Expect higher fares than a local taxi for equivalent distances — best used for longer transfers.
