Nature
Guided Reef Snorkel
Snorkel over a 20,000-year-old living coral reef with a certified guide. Expect enormous schools of jacks and snappers, giant groupers, sea turtles, and mobula rays — visibility often exceeds 30 meters.
Nearly 20 dive sites within the park, from shallow reefs at 15 m to the El Vencedor shipwreck (a sunken tuna trawler). Expect bull sharks, schooling jacks, giant manta rays, and whale sharks in season. Groups limited to small numbers.
Paddle the calm inshore waters of the Sea of Cortez. Turtles, dolphins, and rays are common sightings. Rentals available at Arbolito Beach; mornings are calmest.
Walk north or south from the landing beach to explore tide pools, watch frigatebirds and ospreys, and take in the stark desert-meets-sea landscape. Free and self-guided.
