Getting to Ulva Island requires two steps: from ship to Stewart Island (Oban), then a separate short boat hop.

There is no pier on Ulva Island; all arrivals are by small boat, either expedition Zodiac or water taxi from Golden Bay Wharf on Stewart Island.
