The cruise pier is essentially in the heart of Flåm village — the Flåm Railway station, shops, restaurants, and tourist center are all within a 200–300m walk. No transport needed to explore the immediate area.
The iconic mountain railway departs right from the pier area and climbs 863m to Myrdal in about 1 hour. Book in advance during cruise season — this is the #1 activity in Flåm and sells out fast.
Norway's Best operates a shuttle bus between Flåm and nearby Aurland (~10 min). A separate shuttle connects to Gudvangen for fjord cruise connections. Buy tickets at the Flåm tourist office or online.
