The 12th-century bridge that inspired the French nursery rhyme extended 22 arches across the Rhône — floods destroyed most of it in the 17th century. Four arches and a riverside chapel survive. Short visit but utterly photogenic, and visible from your ship.
The papal vineyards 15 km north produce some of France's most celebrated reds. A half-day tour visits one or two domaines for a cellar tour and tasting of Grenache-led blends. The hilltop village itself has sweeping views over the Rhône Valley.
