Getting Ashore

Most cruise ships dock at the Agadir Port. Passengers can either take a shuttle provided by the cruise line or use local taxis (Petit Taxis) to reach the city center and attractions.

Getting Ashore

  • 1
Port to CityThe port is located a few kilometers from the city center; most visitors use the 'Petit Taxi' (small orange taxis) to get around.
  • 2
Taxi FareTaxis are generally affordable, but always ensure the meter is running or agree on a price before starting the journey.
  • 3
WalkingWalking is possible but not recommended for the first trip as the port area is industrial and not pedestrian-friendly.

💡 Pro move: Be prepared for aggressive touts at the port; a polite but firm 'No, thank you' is usually effective.

Piers & Tendering by Cruise Line

Agadir's cruise ships dock alongside in the working commercial port northwest of the city. It's a secured industrial harbour, so a shuttle or taxi to the port gate is the norm — the beach and Souk El Had are a short ride away.

🚌 Cruise Line Shuttle

~€6–8 round-trip

Many ships offer a shuttle loop to the beach promenade and marina area. Convenient but check your ship's schedule for last departure time.

$75–150 per vehicle

Pre-booked private cars or minibuses from independent operators offer flexibility for day trips to Paradise Valley, Taroudant, or Essaouira.
