Start at the Guggenheim's Puppy sculpture and walk east along the Ría de Bilbao riverbank. Pass the Zubizuri bridge (good photo stop), continue past the Ayuntamiento (City Hall), and cross the river into the Casco Viejo's Plaza Nueva for pintxos. Entirely flat.
Wander the Siete Calles from Plaza Nueva, peek into the Santiago Cathedral, browse the covered Mercado de la Ribera, and end back at the riverfront. The area is dense with pintxos bars — perfect for a self-guided food stop.
